Review Mode Basics

Use reverse outline, Writing Professor, Read Aloud, and reader feedback to review a draft.

Open Review after you have written a draft. Choose a tool for the question you want to answer.

Check the structure

Reverse outline summarises the sections already present in your writing. Compare its summaries with the original text to spot repetition, gaps or an awkward order.

Review proposed section changes before applying them. A summary is an interpretation of the draft; inspect the passage when a summary does not match your meaning.

Get focused coaching

Writing Professor asks questions about passages that may need attention. Read each question with its quoted passage and decide whether it helps your piece.

Choose the intended writing style before generating coaching. A deliberate fragment or unusual rhythm may be part of your voice. A draft may need no coaching questions.

Listen with Read Aloud

Use Read Aloud, choose an available voice, and start playback. Pause or seek with its controls when you want to inspect a passage.

Listen for repeated words, unclear transitions and changes in rhythm. If audio generation fails, use the displayed recovery controls; you can continue editing your document.

Invite a reader

Open Feedback to invite someone to review the document. Readers can select passages, leave comments and reply without editing the author’s draft.

Discuss a comment, revise the relevant passage, and resolve the thread when finished. A removal request offers a direct preview of the text to delete. Positive feedback can be acknowledged without generating a revision.

Finish the review

Check names, numbers, dates and links in the draft itself. Apply only the changes you want, then open Publish to export.
